This thing is garbage. It's a decent idea and my son liked it but after a couple weeks, it malfunctioned and now repeats "Eevee" by itself nonstop until you turn it off. Target used to sell it and its reviews echoed the same thing but is no longer listed.

Same story here, not worth even $10. My son spent a few weeks of his allowance on one of these a while back only to have it malfunction after about 18 hours. He learned the valuable lesson of always reading the reviews before buying.

My kid had the pikachu version of this and played with it for about 25 minutes total. I got it on clearance at Walgreens for $3 and felt ripped off.

Why not turn it into more of a learning experience and take it apart to figure out what's wrong with it?

Could even be something simple like weak batteries.
