Got mine for 319 before tax at Dillard's. They do 20% off using your registry number or 20% refund if bought online and go in store for that refund. My store encouraged making a bogus registry if the kid is out just for that discount haha. Linked below is the Oxford color but it works on any color/ different seats.

I have this car seat for 2 years now and I love it. Very well made, feels sturdy and high quality. I had the opportunity to compare it a graco car seat and this one is heavier and sturdy compare to graco.Graco one was half of the price. I like the security features specifically the one to hold the lap belt. I'm not sure if all these features will change the outcome of a motor vehicle accident or will be the same compare to a cheaper one.

In store only. If purchasing online present receipt to cashier from the baby section and they'll refund 20% of the purchase as long as you have a registry created

Huh? In what situation does a flame retardant car seat make any difference? In a car fire, it's not the seat you've got to worry about, it's the rest of the car.

Ah, duh, I misread the title. This is a flame-retardant _free_ carseat! That makes sense, given the noxious chemicals used in most flame retardants.

It's saying it doesn't use a chemical flame retardant but a natural one. Chemical flame retardants will off gas and produce toxic fumes that your child then breathes in or absorbs thru skin contact. Practically all carseats priced below $100-$150 all use chemical flame retardants. (so that should be your starting price point when looking for car seats for your kids, well above that price point) going flame retardant free aka naturally flame retardant is one part of the total cost that drives the price higher than basic car seats.

thats exactly what i was just thinking reading the post. I mean, I don't like thinking it but if my truck is on fire and my kids are in the seat, that is not catching on fire, that still means its right up against a fire....not sure how this seat would matter but I guess paying $200 more than a Greco or other chair if you have it, well why not?
