The Bugatti was a very satisfying build. Ironically, some of the most intricate parts (like the functional engine and gear box) will never be seen once the model is fully complete… but part of the satisfaction is knowing it's in there because you put it together.

Bought the McLaren F1 for my son. He really wants that Ferrari but it's just too expensive. This McLaren also got his attention and I'm sure he'll appreciate it. Last year we got him the Chiron and that was an incredible build.

I received the F1 car today (that was quick compared to last year when I got the Chiron).
Do both ends of the box come secured with 2 pieces of tape on each side or did they send me an open box? The tape looks placed very well and I could see that coming from factory but wanted to be sure others got the same. I won't open the box until early November because it's a birthday present for my son and that's not for another month.

EDIT: I checked out a few unboxing videos on YouTube and all of them had the box taped just like the one I got. I feel better now.
