    Looking at the comments for the 2nd set of flashlights, they are not rechargeable.

    That's shame, but have maybe too many now from these rechargeable Eveready deals that keep showing up.

    The headlamps are great. Super bright and great for walking in the woods and working on stuff. Good batt life too.

    Great deal and good job by the OP to get the correct lumens on the headlights. That info was buried in the question and answer section where an Energizer rep verified it is 300 lumens… which isn't bad, esp for a rechargeable light in this price range.

    From experience it is better to buy headlamps that take AAA and use rechargeable batteries.

    For reference, the seemingly universal pick for budget hiking headlamp Petzl Tikkina goes 223 hours on low, compared to these which claim 3 hours on low. On high at 250 lumen, the Tikkina will go 3.5 hours (tested, not claimed), while these don't even venture to tell you how long they'll last on 300 lumen high.
