Where do you see that? My understanding of it is if you registered and recieved the confirmation email, then you have one waiting for you at that store as long as you arrive somewhere in that time period. The first-come, first-serve is referring to the registration. I can vouch for this because the first store I registered at I only got a 5 off 50 coupon because that store had run out of lights. The second one I tried, I was succesfull.

I agree it would be helpful if the OP said the pickup time is October 8th 7am-9am or 5pm-7pm (at least for mine). But I'm not seeing anything at the moment that says registering doesn't guarantee you'll get one if you pick it up at the times they say to pick it up. Have you actually seen that somewhere?

That would be an awful promotion to tell you to arrive at certain times on that day and then tell you "oh sorry, we don't have one for you". Note that I'm not at all saying that Lowes is not capable of an awful promotion, but this would be an epic fail for Lowes if they tried to pull something like that without advance warning that it could happen.

Make sure you set (or change) to your preferred Lowes store/location in the main Lowes page before submitting that form.

I didn't realized that Lowes changed my store to some random store. And I can't change the store location in the form after I submitted.

This is obviously similar to the promo they did for Mother's day... in which I got a pint of a plant that was half dead already.
