I tried AKG N60NC over a flight before and have been searching for something similar as my glasses's wing tip sits above of the ear foam which doesn't cause much discomfort for a long period time. Anyone can comment how these will fair with the N60 for those wearing glasses.
P.S: anyone know how the Bose Quietcomfort Earbuds II fair against these?

Your point about glasses sold me on these, my wife will love them for that reason alone.

I bought the y500 version of this headphone in April for $30. These two versions appear to be very similar. The advantage is that the y400 has USB C and is 60 G (about 25%) lighter than the y500. According to one comparison site, the y400 also has a more recent version of bluetooth.
If you have a normal size adult head, you might find the y400 and the y500 to be a little small for your head. I gave them to one of my teenage children and the child likes it a lot and finds that the y500 fits perfectly.

I came to the same conclusion and gave Y500 to kids. I'm using Y50BT which is much larger and heavier. I also noticed that per spec Y500 has longer battery life (33) vs Y400's 20.
So Y500 may actually be better in some aspects even though it takes additional 30 minutes to charge from 0 to full.
