This is a great deal on the surface but my Panera has gone so far downhill it's depressing. They clearly aren't cleaning the coffee urns and filter baskets like ever. Coffee tastes watered down. Maybe it's just the area franchisee in Houston but man it's bad.

Still for free it's hard to complain and the teas are ok.

If you cancel right after you sign up you only get one month free instead of 2, FYI. Have to wait for second billing cycle to cancel for full term, or just set up a virtual CC and lock it so they can't charge you.

Iced Coffee has gone very downhill. They used to keep it in one of those refrigerated dispensers alongside the lemonades. now, its in a metal canister and its either hot or room temp, so after you add it to ice, the cubes melt, and you're left with room temperature, watered down coffee flavored water. What a huge disappointment. Definitely a good deal for someone who gets the hot coffee or those charged lemonades though. TIP - if your free trial is over, go to cancel and odds are youll get an offer of $3 a month for 3 months

Last time we were there they gave us 4 free drinks on a single membership. Was great.

I did the membership when it was just coffee in the past and when 3 months was up and I went to cancel, they kept offering me 3 more months for free to stay. It worked a couple times in a row but now it's more inconvenient to get to a Panera during my daily routine than it used to be.

Very crappy coffee. I've been getting the lemonade, which is massively overpriced at $5.

And it's never ready when I order, even after getting the email that it is; I have to ask for a cup by getting in line.

Free is free, I guess.

While this is a great deal even at normal price, it doesnt help that the soda sucks. The charged lemonade while good, will make you feel like a crackhead at work.

Yep. I signed up a few years ago for the trial and only went once... The coffee was bad, and the parking lot of the closest location was horrible. Wasn't worth subsequent trips, even for free.

Agree, they did it right when they started doing their charged lemonades. Honestly, I'm not sure why anyone would have those charges lemonades. So much sugar... If they had a sugar free version I might give it a try.
