oh. Goodness, I've been playing Shadow of War on Xbox Game Pass since 1 week ago.
Anyone knows if it would be possible to copy the saved game from Xbox Game Pass PC version to Steam? I suspect not as I saw someone mentioning that even the Steam save file is tied to a Steam userid...
And it is interesting that they gave away Loom as I predicted they would do at some point.
Now just need Indiana Jones the Last Crusade to complete the Lucas Arts Collection.
The Luna offering is weak though but anyway I still have 3 weeks of Luna+ courtesy of Lenovo.

Shadow of War will likely be a GOG redeem since we just got Shadow of Mordor on GOG this month.
Total War : Warhammer 2 has amazing ratings. Even though TW: Warhammer 3 is coming out soon —who cares — a 9/10 rating game is still going to be a ton of fun to play. Hero's Hour is a HOMM knock off but that is exactly why it might be a lot of fun also. Im not sure I like the graphics in that game because they look way too cartoonish. It seems to be a port from an older mobile phone game. Even HOMM 1 had better character sprites . If the idea is to pay homage to these classic games then it does a disservice to them by using far more primitive graphics.
Very decent offering, definitely a good month. It's hard to say if it is the best month though.
In July they offered Mass Effect Legendary Edition, Star Wars Jedi 1+2 and Republic Command as well as a number of other games.
IMO Mass Effect with 3 games is worth more for anyone who likes a good story and don't mind sci-fi RPGs. That's basically hundreds of hours of unique (not repetitive) contents.
Last Thanksgiving they gave away Dragon Age Inquisition, Control Ultimate Edition, and Rise of Tomb Raider, I hope they will repeat the same value come Thanksgiving time!
I think Amazon is giving away Shadow of Mordor and Shadow of War in order to promote their Ring of Power show. I don't care much about the show but sure do enjoy playing those games. Actually, the story of Shadow of War is weak and grinding is repetitive. However, like Diablo it's repetitive but enjoyable and addictive.
For those wondering FO76 isn't half bad nowadays, especially for free. You can pretty much solo everything except for daily ops (group dungeons) and late game bosses. If you have to group there is a good chance some lvl 1000 player will come help and make it pretty easy because they're bored af. My only complaint might be lack of guidance as I feel like I have to look stuff up in the wiki occasionally.

I was gonna ask if this offer of 76 is a full game or just dlc type of stuff. Time to spend sometime checking the 76 out! I hear it was really bad when come out but after many updates it is enjoyable now.

what's the path to profitability for Amazon? What's this costing them? I would stay subscribed to Amazon anyway. but if i weren't a gamer & found out about these, i'd be peeved that i'm subsidizing them.
I guess that kinda incentivizes the users to use as much of Amazon products as they can, so that it's that much harder to leave?
ok that makes sense
Amazon owns Twitch… more games people have to stream, better off for Twitch. If people have less games to play, they have less to stream. The bigger question is how much does it really help Twitch? Never really watched Twitch and I don't stream. I do snag every bit of free content that I can from all stores though. Actually, we need to tie my kiddo's Roblox with my account so she can get all the Roblox giveaways.

You do not need to tie your kid's roblox account to twitch. Just claim the code every month. Then add the code to your kid's account the same way that you add Robux codes. Super easy. This has always worked for me. I believe the web address is.

You can tell the early quests that are still in vs the newer fully voiced and fleshed out content. I didn't play at launch but there is a good bit of "go here, read this" stuff early on. Now all of the events and traders and quest lines are elaborate and fully voiced. If you liked building in FO4 it's back to a small extent in that you can build your own personal CAMP home base. It took me months to explore the whole map because I'm bad about ignoring the main quests and just seeing what that next settlement marker is over there... In that way it's very much a FO4.5.
Main gripes would be that it some how doesn't run as well as I feel like it should. Also the only point where I feel pressure to pony up money is for storage space. Crafting from scrap is a big deal in FO and they cap your storage for non-sub players. It's manageable but for me it's a choice between throwing out my unique weapons (weapons on display count towards your limit for example) or cleaning out my various scrap every so often so I have 10% empty space to work with.
