For comparison walmart light duty is 2.6mil, medium 5 mil, heavy duty near 8-10mil. Harbor Freight tarps of same size 5 x 7, 6 x 8 are similar thickness and prices.

I need to buy a tarp to cover my pool, probably need 30x40, maybe a little smaller. What thickness does it have to be and do I need to buy bricks or buy those water or sand bottles?
