Went to Costco Business Center to try and redeem some of my Citi coupons on some new airpods pro and the guy wasn't able to do it from there since not a warehouse. He did find the item # and then told me to wait until 10/8/22 as the warehouses will have them priced at $169.99. He said I could take a picture of the screen. Hopefully this helps someone else that was going to buy and willing to wait another 9 days.
URL is just a link to the product page for info purposes. I don't post deals often, so my formatting probably sucks idc.
Retail: $239.99
Sale: $169.99

EDIT: Since a lot of people seem to be skeptical on this point, I want to point out two things because people cannot read apparently. This is for 2ND GEN with its item number, it is not a mistake on that. However, there is a big potential that this is a pricing mistake for this item and will be corrected on 10/8, but I will leave the post up as the information was from a Costco employee's system and not based on rumor. Don't waste your energy getting upset that it might not happen, just move on to the next deal.

Lol I'm not upset at all. I work for costco and can tell you first hand, this happens all the time when it comes to Gen 1, Gen 2, Gen 3, etc items and it will be corrected a day or two before the sale date. There are so many layers to their check and balance…ESPECIALLY when it comes to major sales department(major app/TV/cpu/jewelry/tablets/watches/headphones/earbuds/drones/consoles). Before the the actual date, the sales department from corporate would double check the sale items…(again, especially anything from major sales department) and they would email the managers/supervisors of all the departments(meat/food/optical/etc)of all the sales item in their department that they need to be printed/updated for and posted up at the warehouse. The only common mistakes that comes to pricing is when the manager/sup FORGET to update the price when the sale is OVER. Even with that, the customer would be charge the full price at register and the supervisors would override the price and enter the old sales price and would get an employee to take down the old sign and update the price immediately. Even still with the old sales price, it's at the discretion of the manager/supervisor if they wanna honor the old sales price that was still posted because there's an expiration date of sale price on the sign itself.
And Gen 2 item #1170991 would be 99.99 on 10/08 and end 10/17

PLus the Airpods 2nd gen haven't even been out a week yet. Apple doesn't discount 33% after 2 weeks.
The lowest price I recall the Airpods Pro 1st gen getting down to was $169. And that was well after they launched.
...so a lot of wishful thinking.
SD: So you're saying there's a chance
They are not "required" to price matched this because they(costco wholesale) didn't not publicly announced this price to the public. The screen that OP took a picture of is for internal use only(employees) and that employee could get in trouble for showing it. If they announced this price on costco.com or through their sales booklet, then yes, they are required too since it was announced to the public.
Also, costco warehouse DO NOT price match other costco warehouses or costco.com. The reason why is because the warehouse manager marked down the price at that particular location. Same thing with online. The online management team marked down the price themselves to push out inventory. If you bought an item at a higher price in one location and you're in a warehouse that have it for a lower price, you can get a price adjustment at that location if the item is bought within 30 days AND the warehouse still have that item in stock.
