This was SUPER confusing, but I did get it to work. You basically have to add both those offers via PayPal, go to the Google Play Store, buy something and PAY USING THE LINKED PAYPAL ACCOUNT, just go on blind-faith that it will work (not reflected anywhere during the checkout process), and then when you get a receipt you'll see that you paid whatever the price of the thing was minus $15 and then it automatically withdraws from some other account (didn't use my preferred one).

Basically, Google Play Store interface is a dumpster fire of user-experience, but this does eventually work, as OP stated. Good find...Google, for the love of god, fix your UX (maybe spend less time building random projects like Stadia, only to shut them down a year later).

You can ask refund via "google play purchase history" then select "Bought by mistake" They refunded in 1 min.

Per the terms, the purchase must be made on the website. However, I did an in-app purchase and it worked.

I added PayPal to my Google Pay [google.com], and then made an in-game purchase with PayPal as the checkout method, and the promotions applied. (You can't see that the promotion works until after the purchase by going to your PayPal activity.)

If you have multiple PayPal accounts, you can add the 2 promos to each PayPal account, add each PayPal account to the same Google Pay account, and do this promo multiple times. I tested it and it works.

I hope this helps,
Tofu Vic

Worked for me! Like everyone said, you don't know that the coupons are applied until after you complete your purchase. I bought a $19.99 in app purchase (Pokemon Go), and when I checked the charge in PayPal, it shows up as only $4.99!

Thanks I purchased Nope for $19.99 , PayPal receipt showed me $4.99.

Also this movies port to MA to other platforms.

California does not charge tax on digital movies so this offer won't work on Top Gun movie for CA residents because its only $14.99 also Top gun is paramount movie which will not port to MA.

Worked for me:

Please note the original price for 2,500 PokeCoins is $21.76 in NYC ($19.99 + tax)
I had Google Play credit of $3.31.

So 21.76 - 3.31 = 18.45

Below is what I see in my Paypal summary transaction
Purchase details:
2,500 PokéCoins (Pokémon GO) $18.45; Special offer- $10.00; Special offer- $5.00; Total $3.45

Works perfectly. Just note that I didn't even see this in the purchase summary when I was doing the in-app purchase. I basically prayed it would work and it did!

Check your GOOGLE PLAY Notifications/offers first!

$1 off $1+ app/game, etc, $4 off any $4+ ebook ($19.99 book would be .99 after paypal offer.

I haven't seen this mentioned by anyone yet, but this does work for in-app, game purchases as well. Just 'bought' an item for a game that is typically $14.99 + tax (don't judge me) for only $1.04 out of pocket. See attached image.
So you made that purchase while actually in the app?

YouTube Movies replaced Google Play movies. Will the discount work if I buy Tog Gun 2 through YouTube?

Thanks, worked but there wasn't really anything I wanted to pay $15 for in game. No way to combine multiple purchases in game, or bundle multiple apps or ebooks (there were some book bundle deals, but all like $40 I saw). Ended up buying a $17 ebook. $1.99 charged (forgot to switch payment method doh)

This works but man blind faith as people say. I got Nope 4K for 4.99 since I don't get charged tax. Thanks OP!
Wouldn't that be 9.99 since the $10 off is spend $15?

I tried to purchase top gun and it shows 14.99 no tax. Is it normal that mine isn't taxed? Located in california.
Same here. I'm in KS and it's showing $14.99 NO TAX. I'm reluctant to make the purchase.
