Unbelievable all the griping here about a free item. Don't get one, especially if you're going to toss it right away.

I have a few sitting atop my fridge right now, including one that's maybe 4 years old…still works fine. Super handy in case of power outages too.

These are not even worth free. I own all kinds of led lights and these after picking them up and batteries die they go straight to the trash.

Magnet is not as strong and if batteries die even if you don't use them.

I got one of these years ago and still use it when I change my oil to see well under the car. Had to change batteries once. Great free item.

I've also had bad luck with these. Once the batteries die, I can't get them to work again (yes, I've tried but brand new batteries & rechargeable).
