This is competitive gaming monitor. Which usually cap at 1080p for maximum FPS. 27 inch for 1080p monitor is as big as you want to go because above that pixel density becomes too low which would make picture quality and text horrible. So no, you don't want this monitor bigger.

1080p should not exceed 24 inch
at 27 inch the pic will definitely look grainy at 1080p
for competitive gaming, 24 inch is the golden size. but if you want 27 inch for more immersive experience, you should get at least 1440p resolution, regardless of the refresh rate.
240hz will not make much difference than 144 hz, but the huge pixel size for 1080p at 27inch will be a deal breaker

So you're paying for 240Hz then?

Aren't there 32 inch 1440p 1ms screens for $200 regularly?

IPS panel at 240 with G-SYNC is what your paying for. Very few option at this price range.

agreed. at 1080p I personally wouldn't go above 25 and they do sell it, model number XG250 looks to be going for $200 on amazon.

I played on 1080p 27 inch before, you do notice the pixel density on text, but in game its not that different.

The appeal of this monitor is the Blur Busters certified PurXP strobing mode. It will reduce motion blur between 75hz-240hz, but in this monitor the sweet spot is 100/120hz and at that range it's apparently excellent. You cannot use strobing with VRR (Variable Refresh Rate). It's either or. Also when using strobing framerate should match refresh rate.

I almost bought this monitor, but I think I'm going to wait for a deal on the 24" 1080P XG2431 which is even further improved and more consistent for strobing between 60hz-240hz.
