To be fair though, you can definitely beat the crap out of someone with one of these. I just think you could probably find a real metal/wood bat at Goodwill for $5-10 that'll do the job and then you don't have to spend $13 on a piece of Chinese molded plastic and think it's a slick deal.

I have the Shorty Version which is short. You can do a very strong hit with one hand or if you really wanted to, still two hand swing it but having a free hand for mace or something else with this is a good burglarball game

I saw somewhere baseball bats make the best home defense weapon. Of course it can't compare with a gun, but bats are easy to pick up and use without training.

Not possible to destroy this using it as a bat. You could stand on it and nothing would happen. Yes it is technically plastic but it is incredibly solid and strong. Anyone making fun of this has never held one in their hand.

Bought this last time it was on sale. It is very sturdy and durable, albeit a little heavy. I would not purchase this if you want to deliver quick consecutive blows. I would look at a lighter material like aluminum.
