Not for everyone, but great for those who want the M1 power in a similar form factor but don't mind a little less storage, camera, and some other features.
The Samsung S7 and S8 tablets are very nice products and Samsung has extended their support window but, in the end, Apple still has them beat. So that's why I stick with Apple. Especially since I tend to buy products about a year after release to save money and the support window is from when the product is released.
If you plan to upgrade within three years of the product's release than it is either or.

Like I said, you have to be patient though. There are plenty of people trying to offload the 2020 4th gen model for about the same price…
