Here is a list of devices it's compatible with or going to be compatible with before 2023. The wired doorbells compatibility are listed as "pending" which means it could still come but just not before 2023. Having said that, Eufy has a bad habit of saying features are coming and never implementing them. I have eufy products but I don't buy anything from them unless the features I'm looking for are already implemented and not just "promised"

what is the benefit for someone with those 2k wired cameras? these https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B0857...=emc_b_5_t

is it mainly for more storage? will all the cams record to this homebase instead of the built in micro sd?

Probably not worth upgrading if you have a Homebase Gen 1. That one has a battery backup with an sd slot.

Is there a Eufy camera that does 24/7 video recording? I would just hate to have to purchase a different brand when I have invested in Eufy.

The outdoor C24 and indoor C24 does continuous video recording. Lots of people use the indoor C24 for outdoor usage.

The main reason I would be interested in this is to have 24/7 recording from my wired doorbell camera. I want to know more about how this supports 24/7 recordings.

HomeBase 3 is compatible with all eufyCam models, eufy Battery Doorbells (except E8213), and eufy Sensors. It will be compatible with all eufy Security devices by the end of 2022, with the exception of eufy Wired Doorbell.

This will not be compatible with your wired doorbell camera.

That 24/7 eufy doorbell sucks soooo bad. Absolutely terrible motion detection. Their other cameras rock.

Dang, my doorbell camera rocks, but I would love to have the 24/7. I have other Eufy cameras on the front of my house doing 24/7 though, so I guess I am mostly covered.

I just received mine. Unless I'm missing something obvious - as far as I can tell, the S380 HomeBase 3 has NO wifi network connectivity support like the HomeBase 2 does. This is a significant omission from the advertisement "upgrade" description and a major downgrade. For those that need to locate their HomeBase away from the router to get best centralized connection with cameras it could be a deal breaker.
