$181 Million chicken class action lawsuit settlement has been agreed which involves anyone who purchased chicken in the following states: Florida, Hawaii, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, Rhode Island (after July 15, 2013), South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, and Wisconsin from January 1, 2009 (except for Rhode Island, which is from July 15, 2013), to July 31, 2019. in the last 11 years.

Specifically, if you purchased any chicken or chicken products from January 1, 2009 through December 31, 2020 you can be eligible to receive a cash payout from a collection of chicken lawsuits, resulting in class action settlements totaling $181 million. No Proof Required to file a claim - file under penalty of perjury so do not lie on your claim form.

This is chicken feed compared to the latest gouging. 33% increase. I cannot imagine how much less it should have been before the inflation kicked in this last year or so.

How are you supposed to put a figure on just how much chicken you purchased over a ten year period? Our family eats chicken en masse. Guesstimate I suppose.

I mainly eat chicken but this is completely nonsensical. I can't imagine getting much out of this settlement but I'll give it a shot.
