I've bought a ton of hammocks like these, from Eno's to the cheapest Chinese knockoffs on prime day. There is zero difference in quality between them. My oldest ones that I got for dirt cheap on Black Friday years ago hang out in my yard every day, exposed to the elements, with no signs of wear. That being said, you absolutely want to get the hammock straps. I'll never hang another hammock without them. I've noticed a slight difference in strap quality, the better ones are thicker and stretch less. But any strap is better than trying to hang a hammock with ropes. I prefer the double size, even when it's just for a single person. You can certainly fit two people in a double hammock, just don't expect it to be super comfortable for long periods of time.

Looks like dimensions are 106"L x 55"W for Amazon vs 120 x 78 inches but good for $3 bucks

I ordered first $8 the $3 one 2 weeks ago. It says delivered but didn't received yesterday. Contact Amazon they refund $8 then noticed price dropped $3. order same item for $3 again. Hopefully I will receive it by time.

Definitely seems sketchy to me, and I've had a problem with a few vendors like this. I'm not saying it's impossible--I've bought a number of hammocks and my favorite one of all was one I got on Amazon for $7 with tree straps. But I'd wager even odds it shows "shipped" with no tracking and never shows up or something similar. In fact I've got to contact Amazon right now because of a similar situation. Item shows shipped but no tracking; vendor messaged me and told me it's out of stock but encouraged me to order through their other website so they can scam more money from me. I can't just "cancel" the order because it shows shipped.

I don't believe that's true. It looks like you're looking at the measurements for the medium size, not even on sale here.

Medium: 108 x 54 inches
Large: 120 x 78 inches

Good catch, you are right. I ordered already, I will let the die roll and report back. Thanks for the info though.

I don't think the straps are the same. The ones sold separately are longer, and seem to include a great deal more adjustment points.
