Thanks for the post, but wouldn't it be better to:
1. Buy from Apple with your Apple credit card and get 3% statement credit?
2. Buy from Amazon with your Amazon Prime credit card and get %5 statement credit?
3. Buy from Best Buy with your Best Buy credit card and get %5 statement credit?
I purchased from Best Buy, and from another SlickDeal post stacked a 10% off coupon code. Also, if you're a Best Buy TotalTech member, it comes with AppleCare/GeekSquad.
I'm not a Costco member. Is there still a reason to buy from Costco?

The main reason to buy it from Costco is they have it (at least as of 5 minutes ago). The only model they had was the only model I really wanted, Alpine loop in green in size Medium. From Apple, the wait is November 5, from Best Buy, 4 week wait. From Amazon... no idea.

Ah, didn't realize the wait was that extensive for specific color and size combinations. Today, we're picking up our White Ocean Band from Best Buy…ordered last week.

I don't want to apply for new credit cards. Also I did pre-order from Best Buy. I was supposed to get it on 23rd. Best Buy shipped it, but I never received it. Now Best Buy has canceled my order because they don't have it in stock. They say my package was lost. Also I go to Costco every week, so it will be easier to return should I decide to do that.

I see, so Costco members get a 4% statement credit back. That's a good incentive then.
To answer your question, yes, AppleCare+ is included for a second year if you continue your TotalTech membership. I'll continue my membership for a second year because of multiple purchase made in the past year for myself, parents and in-laws—it's worth it TO ME for a second year.

Makes sense. Sorry to hear you're having so much trouble with BB. I guess I've just been lucky.

This watch cost more then my Iphone 14 pro max after my $1k trade in credit. What is this world coming to?
we need to understand that we don't have to buy all the things that apple makes. we might not be their target audience. just let it go; think of it as never existed

Lifetime satisfaction guarantee. Technical and unethical you can return the old watch and upgrade to the new one 😏
