This was the biggest letdown ever for me and video games... the live actors made MK insanely cool
Same here! I don't think I played MK4 even once, and that was after spending years pumping quarters into the first two. The real actors made everything feel more realistic, especially the violence. MK4 just looked like every other fighter game to me...

I can understand your sentiment. NRS has actually made button combos much simpler on the newer versions of MK, starting from MK9 w/ 'D-Pad+1-button' move executions.

Have you tried playing on a PC with a keyboard? I find this way way easier for fighting games.
