A pretty great selection given the tiny price! Keep in mind that none of these are MA compatible and that most will redeem through Apple (Frailty won't, probably some others), all will redeem through Vudu.
Sorry, I'm both an idiot and a newb. Which redeeming factors does Vudu have over the others like Apple or MA?
Movies Anywhere is usually the ideal choice as it shows up in Vudu and other places when linked. Vudu just shows up in Vudu so you're locked into that ecosystem which is fine for people like me that mainly use MA or Vudu so everything is in one place.

Well I made that comment to point out that some of the films being sold here are only going to redeem to Vudu, which would be a deal breaker for an Apple user. Some background:
Movies Anywhere is a service which enables users to share digital movie purchases between different retailers and streaming services. So for example if I were to buy a MA compatible film on my Xfinity cable box, that movie would also be accessable through Vudu, Amazon Video, Apple TV, etc. So I can watch it on any of those services (and thus pretty much any device I might want to use).
Movie distributors have to opt into Movies Anywhere, and not all of them do (Paramount and Lionsgate among those which don't). So if you were to purchase any of these films, they would only be accessable via the store or service through which you purchase them, or in this case, the service where you redeem the digital code which you buy from FanFlix.
So, to answer your question, because these films cannot be accessed everywhere via the MA system, the buyer must choose to access them through either Vudu or Apple. The Vudu app is available on nearly all devices regardless of age or operating system. However if Vudu would ever cease to exist, any purchases owned only through Vudu could potentially disappear forever. This is not at all likely, but it did happen with a couple of smaller competitors early in the development of movie streaming.
Apple is a bit more limited and cannot be accessed from most older devices and their app is not available on all platforms. The benefit to using Apple is that Apple isn't going anywhere so your purchases are probably safe there. If you already use Apple, obviously keep using it; if you don't use Apple, I suggest you make sure that the Apple TV app is available for your devices before going with them.
I use Vudu because I've been using it since the company started, but it has changed hands twice in the past several years, and it does give me a bit of pause every time I think about it too hard. I purchase physical copies of movies which I really love, and for everything else (especially stuff that doesn't fall under the MA umbrella), I hope that my purchases will be fine because at this point Vudu is too big to fail. Hopefully.

Is the "American Psycho (Uncut)" the version where no one gets dismembered? Everyone remains intact and uncut?
Similar question, but why is the Uncut version 1h 41m and the "Regular" version 1h 47m?
As others have said, this is a great deal though. If Army of Darkness was on here I'd get all 3 Evil Dead films for sure. Currently looking at Evil Dead 1/2, American Psycho, and The Cabin in the Woods. Will probably do 2 purchases for 6 films total
So, how exactly does this work? When I buy the movies, do I get to download them, so that I actually own them and can play them off-line? I ask because I have heard of other services. Where you "buy" a movie, but you can only watch it through the particular service from which you purchase it. I prefer to have my movies stored locally/off-line.
You lease the license aka rent not own and can be revoked for any reason. This what you agree too when you signup any online selling digital.
This is a great deal! Less than $2 per movie and more than a few UHD titles available. I already own most of the big hitters. I ended up snagging Hell Fest, Spiral, and Saw. I already owned Saw but at this price I didn't mind double-dipping in order to upgrade to UHD.
If you don't already own, I highly recommend American Psycho, Evil Dead 1 & 2, Cabin in the Woods, Saw, It Follows, and Stir of Echos.

It's great to warn people about this bullcrap, but you're kind of legitimizing this. If everyone just accepts that they can revoke it for any reason, they can.
I don't want to have an argument about this. We could argue for decades and I already understand your argument. You're saying they "can" legally do it. I'm saying they "can" or "can't" depending on what the reaction of their customers will be, and what the reaction of an enterprising legal system will be (i.e. challenges to those terms of service).
Is the original Evil Dead missing for anyone else? I just saw it in the choices a while ago and now that I'm ready to buy, it's gone. It only shows Evil Dead 2.

Might be licensing issue.

This seems accurate, as the Uncut version only has an additional 20 seconds of material or something.
If only I knew about this before Evil Dead 1 was pulled
However if it was bought previously, it is still available for watch.
Based on my current experience with iTunes and Vudu, if an item is no longer available it won't be pulled from user's account if previously purchased.
