Not against this brand in total, I just want to avoid this flavor.

Construction side: it exploded multiple times, and the taste side... it's smoky, bitter and acidic - like drinking charbroiled lemon tar.

French Roast is ideal for this IMO as the stronger flavor is needed because it gets diluted when pouring hot over ice; it mitigates the reduction. I usually make genuine cold brew coffee but I have been getting lazy and Japanese Ice Coffee is my goto for months now as it's quick and convenient.
I just need to fit an insulated tumbler filled with ice and brew a cup directly over it. Add some liquid stevia, a little powdered cinnamon and almond milk and it's good enough for me to call it decent ice coffee; it's the lazy cold brew
As for the brand being decent; it's one of the pricier ones on Amazon (CamelCamelCamel has the average price around $28). I would prefer a better deal and brand to be honest, but given the price history and overall acceptable quality of SFB coffee I feel the deal is relatively good so I bit as I'm running low.
