Wish there was a deal on full sized MX keys for business.

Anyway, one, beware, pictures show EU style layout with oversized Enter button, unsure if you'll get US or EU layout, two, mini version has space bar design issue, it feels cheap and hollow/rattles when activated which is not the case for full sized version, you may or may not find it annoying.

Is this good for travel? I can throw it in my bag with a laptop?

I've been using this keyboard since 3 month ago at the work. I would use full one but I'm so satisfied for this product. Small, compact, no issue so far.

Not sure. I might be wrong. But this mx mini comes with the new usb receiver and won't work with the legacy unified receiver.

But you can still hook it up with Bluetooth connection

Is this just the EU version? How would you ensure you got the US?

Business comes with the Logi Bolt receiver and 2 year warranty

Non-business has more color options in addition to the pale gray and graphite (pink and black)

I have this, everything works great. My one nitpicky issue with this is that instead of having regular media keys, they replaced some with emoji, dictation, screenshot etc. Who uses any of those? Emoji key really? Anyways you can reprogram most of the media keys, so that helps. But hitting a smiley face is a little annoying.

Edit, forgot to add, I think this is a great deal if it's something you want.

I thought I got a screaming deal on ebay for 65 bucks. Then I realized I got the non business version and had to go buy a bolt receiver. 😭 (No you don't need a bolt receiver for this to work, but for my desk setup, I wanted/needed it).

I agree. I have this and the full sized MX Keys. Those emojis print useless.

Love the keyboard though, feels very high quality and has quite some heft. Excellent battery life on Bluetooth as well

Agreed! I have the full size for my wife, but I wanted more desk space, so I opted for the mini. I love the MX line of hardware and everything always works.

My logitech k810 is still crunching work as my portable keyboard but finally starting to physically break near the corners after 8 years. Time to get one of these as a replacement!
Btw I noticed in the photos they show different sized enter keys. I'm guessing lenovo got lazy and used the same stock images for their US/EU websites.

Edit: Just noticed the light grey matches the same model number on staples. Maybe they'll honor a pricematch the same business line there

I asked support about US vs UK style. She said "It comes with US style. I'll report the picture with IT team, so they can remove that picture. Thank you for your feedback."

Still deciding. Should I get a wireless mechanical keyboard (NuPhy Air75) or this?

But it doesn't have the tablet holder that the $7 Onn BT Mini Keyboard has! 😅

I love my two fullsize MX Keys, I'd love to have this to throw in my bag to use with a tablet, but the Onn Keyboard has been fairly solid. Is there a carrying case with it since it's the "portable" model?

Use code "EXTRA5" for additional $3.5 off.

Student/EPP can use verify.me to get $3.3 off on top.

I always prefer quieter keyboards in office, so these scissor type switches of the MX keys are my go to (and fun to type). Mech keyboards are great for speed typing and gaming but loud, even optical keyboards. However i wouldn't recommend wireless keyboards for gaming unless it's a logitech. If you like keyboard customization (it won't be cheap), then I recommend you go mechanical. It ultimately comes down to how quiet your environment is, and how quiet you want it to be imo
MX Keys Pros: Slimmer than any mechanical keyboard out there. Quiet, Fun to type.
Mechanical: Can customize (e.g. keycaps). Fast typing + stronger key resistance feel

If you want to test the MX Keyboard typing experience, most Staples or Best Buy stores should have them on display
