ACTIVE INGREDIENTS
AVOBENZONE 3% • HOMOSALATE 10% • OCTISALATE 5% • OCTOCRYLENE 7%
In other words, the SAME UV blocking ingredients as most of the sub-par American sunscreens.

There are a handful of newer UV blockers that extend coverage into the UVC and UVA range which UNFORTUNATELY are not available in American sunscreens.
Blame your future skin cancers and wrinkled dog skin on a FDA that's too reluctant to authorize their use.
TriasorB is one newer UV blocker.
3. EU/JP sunscreens utilize such and provide better UV protection across a broader spectrum.
E.g. La Roche Posay's UVMune 400 (imported from EU) utilises 8 ingredients that provide superior UV blocking vs their American counterparts.
E.g. Anessa (imported from Japan) utilizes 9 ingredients including physical zinc and titanium blockers for extended uva/uvc blocking.
E.g. Avene (EU/Canada) utilizes 4 new blockers for extended UVA blocking.

The best sunscreen you can buy in America is actually those huge tubs of equate sunscreen with the squeeze nozzles you can get at Walmart they have the perfect ingredient combination and it's dirt cheap just know that you're getting a sub-par American sunscreen that you need to apply every 90-120 minutes or so.

My father was experimenting with zinc oxide based sunscreens and he found that those actually lasted longer and were much more water resistant then the chemical sunscreens if you're willing to apply them thick enough so they leave you with a white cast. The sunscreens should have at least 10% zinc oxide ideally 20%. That's also another okay option especially if you're willing to look like a ghost cuz then you know you've got a good application. Don't mix zinc oxide based sunscreens with chemical sunscreens.
Wow! Posay sound a lot like the other word that is used to describe a vagina which I like to rub all over my face too!
"Octocrylene can penetrate into the skin where it acts as a photosensitizer, resulting in an increased production of free radicals under illumination.[2] It may also pass through the skin, into the blood stream, eventually being metabolized and excreted in urine in form of its metabolites.[3][4] Octocrylene can convert to benzophenone through a retro-aldol condensation.[5] The reaction occurs slowly over time, yielding significant concentration of benzophenone in all commercial cosmetics tested formulated with octocrylene.
In coral, octocrylene has been shown to accumulate in the form of fatty acid conjugates and trigger mitochondrial dysfunction"
