Additional info,
1. Dexley is bigger than Hyken. Depending on your size, one may be preferable over the other.
2. I have two Dexley chairs for 3 years. The bottom part of one of the chairs was broken, and it was replaced free of charge, after a phone call.
3. I reversed the armrest assembly of Dexley, the setup provides an additional support at the elbow area, and I can sit closer to the desk.
4. One slight negative, there is a slight play (about 5-10 degree) even though tilt lock is fully engaged on both of my Dexley chairs.
5. Beside these, no issues so far. Pretty comfortable WFH for the last a couple years.
Hyken has more features, but Dexley is bigger
Handling fees? Get wrecked.

These chairs were also sub $100 the BF before covid. Normally around $140. MSRP is artificially inflated to appear like a deal. $160 after fees? Get wrecked.

Thanks for that, as I know nothing, and wanting to get one for my GF who is working from home these days and has a crap chair.

I wish I had more to spend on a Hermann Miller but reality dictates...

After six months on this, I would recommend measuring your seat pan depth / knee to hip distance to determine dexley (bigger)vs hyken, as opposed to general height. If your upper legs are shorter and prevent you from naturally reaching the seat back, it'll be uncomfortable. Footrest can be added later and lumbar support adjusted to offset other height needs.

Sorry, which one are you talking about in that regard?

Dexley pan was too big for me. I need to put a cushion to fill the slight gap between my back and the seat back for WFH mode completely upright . Hyken would have been a better fit. For everything else I recline it and it's great with the headrest.

Ah, understood... Thank you for clarification.

So the Hyken would be better for a woman ~5'7" I imagine? And seems to have a more adjustable lumbar section like a Hermann Miller then the Dexley.

Appreciate you chiming in...

Currently sitting in the Hyken bought in 2020. Not terribly comfortable but cooling effect is necessary here in Texas. Would probably choose Dexley if didnt have this one. Cant wait to switch back to my Secret Lab chair for winter.

On my second Hyken. The first ones armrest were falling apart after a few years so I bought another. About to treat myself to another at this price. It's not perfect but it's the most comfortable chair I've ever had. I like the fact that it's not too wide in the seating area as a lot of other office chairs are. Can just adjust the armrest inward to hug your body more.
