I tried both of them in store today.

Hyken's headset is too low for me and it stuck on my shoulder. No height adjustment for headset.

Dexley has almost no back support at all on this chair if you sit up straight the back is like a foot away from you uper back. Tilk lock doesn't work since its so far back might as well not exist. I'm almost always sleeping on the chair. Not good for work.

I had them order a charcoal grey one for me at the store today. Should be there Friday. Saved on the "handling." Anyone know if casters can be swapped for wooden pegs. I don't want scratches on my floor.

I have the Dexley, I'm sitting on it right now. I paid $120. If it broke I probably would not buy another, and instead go buy a used Aeron or Leap v2.

The hydraulic is shit. After about a year the chair sinks to the lowest setting after sitting on it for a few hours. When it's on the lowest settings it's incredibly loud when you make the slightest shift in movement.

The mesh is good quality and hasn't sagged at all, from what I can tell. I am about 200lbs.

Lumbar support kind sucks but most do.

Not the worst chair for <$150 though. I personally would pay $250 for a used better quality chair though.

These ergo chairs fixed my back issues. For decades I sat on those leather executive chairs and I would go to bed with terrible back pain.

If you're the type to slouch on chairs relaxing eating potato chips this is not the chair for you.

$140 is their normal "sale" price. I've been looking at these chairs for a while, and it drops to that price often. It was just this price last week because of Staples chair sale.
Thanks for the headsup, wish people stop upvoting on trash like this, not even a warm deal.

Only 275lbs.

Daughter often sit with me making closer to this limit and if she jump, it will exceed the limit. May need to pass if wife decide to take it. Lol

I just ordered and had to pay for $12.50 handling as no stock at my stores. Total with a 3 year warranty for $20 came out to $170, includes taxes and $15 rewards coupon.

I have both the Hyken and the Dexley. Dexley wins hands down. I'm 6ft, my wife 5'3"... we both prefer the Dexley. The Hyken is not as comfortable. It's smaller and the seat is more shallow than the Dexley. I can lean back and stay reclined in the Hyken, but my wife can't. Maybe she doesn't weigh enough? Anyway, I paid more than this deal for the Hyken, I wouldn't buy it again even for $139.

Dont feel bad, they charge the handling fee even if you pick it up in store.

Do you know if one can get the warranty for the extra $20 if you ordered it before the newer "sale" where you didn't need the code?

Mine is getting delivered today...

Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank

My Best friend and I both bought this chair. He's maybe 170 Lbs and I weigh in closer to 200.
The mesh seating ripped within a month or two (for both of us). The reviews state this chair is not good for sitting for long periods of time. Once the mesh is ripped, the chair is useless.

I would not recommend.

I got this 2 years ago and now have lower back issues because of it. Im 5'9" and 170lbs. This hurts my posture and hurts my ankles if i choose to sit criss cross with no socks. Ive now got an aeron. A chair that you spend hundreds of hours per year is worth investing in.
