Don't buy it. Big waste of time and effort. I would have been better off just getting a paint sprayer and some quality latex paint

I haven't personally tried it yet, but the Beyond Paint product seems to have highly positive reviews and works well for cabinets. There are plenty of youtubers who have used it and have shared their results.

I used this. 3 of these to do my entire kitchen. 2 years later and still holding up fine. Most people who complain did not take the time to prep properly.

Latex? While I know some DIY'ers claim latex is okay on cabinets...you'll never find a professional using it and for good reason.

I used this for painting "builder" vanity cabinets in my rental property. It's good, not great. I sanded first even though not required. There were some streaks, paint soaked in quite a bit so I had to coat some sections a 3rd time. I think for a bathroom vanity it's fine, I dunno if I would risk it on kitchen cabinets especially if you're looking for a super high quality finish. It's definitely "good enough" though and this price is great. If you're not looking for flawlessness and Uber perfection, this will get the job done.

Results can vary of course, this was my first diy, I'm sure i could eliminate streaks and other nuances with practice...but I don't think anyone using this is in it for practice... Basically a one time job for most I imagine.

I used the white set on some kitchen cabinets in a rental unit. The clear coat they tell you to put on as the last step (to prevent yellowing) turned yellow within 2 years. By year 3 the cabinets looked super nasty. Rust-Oleum gave me a refund on my purchase, but that feels silly when it took hours and days of labor to apply it. I ended up getting a hvlp sprayer and used some white enamel paint. That has held up much better.

If you're going with a dark color (dark brown) this is a great kit instead of buying everything separately. it's a 7 or 8 instead of a 9 or 10 with buying higher quality items. For most bathroom vanities if you're even considering painting them, this kit is fine. I wouldn't use this for white or light colors.

Better off with an Alkyd or Enamel, but sure. The sprayer is a better option.

You definitely get what you pay for minus your time and effort ….. and the great disappointment at the results.
There are no shortcuts to durable cabinet transformation
