Can this be installed on multiple machines, or is it a lifetime license for the machine it's installed on?

EDIT: Just reread the post and answered my own question:

"One-time purchase installed on 1 Windows PC for use at home or work"
It isn't GameStop. It's GameSpot. So, you're not buying from a retailer.

Can't go too wrong buying the latest Office Pro for $36....'grey market' or not, who cares? If MS wanted to stop this type of thing from happening....they would. They are making more money selling cheap licenses than keeping the price up and driving people to pirate it, and protecting their market share from FREE google office apps. Plenty of morons are still going to pay $220 on Amazon for this, so try not to lose too much sleep over the PnL impact to Microsoft from selling cheap Office keys.

Microsoft doesn't make any money from this. It must be a volume license which the gray market seller paid a fixed fee. Microsoft could stop this but with the side effect of blocking legitimate licenses. So they eat this cost.

If Microsoft decides to block this, $36 is not much to lose. But again why would you pay pretty much a pirate $36? Might as well download the bootleg for free. It's stupid to pay for a pirated copy.

Pro Plus includes Skype for business. I bought mine from another seller and it's an MSDN license and registered in my Microsoft account. It was less than $30 so no big loss if it's deactivated, which I don't think will happen.

What happens to the data stored on the 1TB OneDrive available with the subscription model? I can also share my subscription with 4 people who each get their own 1 TB of OneDrive. I saw this deal today on Mashable, but with my employer discount the subscription was $79 per year. That cost isn't too bad for 5 individuals to use.

Microsoft did make money by selling the original volume license. Don't you think it's far more likely that MS just agrees to look the other way when their volume customers are hit by economic downturns and don't need the full volume they licensed? You know that MS will be pushing volume towards their licensees when they're trying to make their sales targets for a quarter. This is just how business is done. Mutual back scratching

I'll never understand people who get bent about this. IF it were a problem M$ would close that pipe. But more importantly, what kind of pedantic psycho chastises others over some line in a EULA being violated.

Bet these guys are fun at parties.

I was suspicious too, did the transaction with Amex since they have a good record of refunding. Got 15% on top of it. Came to $13 something.
Digital key. They send you an email with instructions. Valid key, worked without any issue.
Don't know about it's legit or legal, I know it works. Don't have 30 plus mulla to spend on O2021.

I made a purchase to support the vendor r/g legit volume license
I also ordered a Windows 11 Pro for my new build, but they do not include a link to download Windows 11 image. Contacted CS.
