To get around the shipping charge: buy a pre-lease video game or music cd (one that will be released in a month+) to get over the minimum $35 for free shipping.

Then, when you receive your mugs (or any other items), cancel the video game as it hasn't shipped yet, and Wally hasn't charged you either.

Here's one that's not released until Nov 18: Pokemon [walmart.com]

I've done this many times.

I've had mine for years since they came out with them, no loss of vacuum at all. I do hand wash mine.

No problem here either and I "abuse" them, they go into the dishwasher and get banged around to the point where they've got dents in them. To this day, no loss of vacuum (and I use mine in a marine environment sitting out in the hot sun where you'd know for sure if the insulation was compromised).

Great price, even if they only last ~4 years before losing their vacuum inside.

The flip lid top isn't all that great. If your drink is too hot, the lid will eventually pop out of its resting area. I leave lid vented until the liquid is cool enough to keep the top sealed.

I've had OT mugs going on 6 or 7 years now. This and the bigger size.

can these be tipped upside down and still hold liquid? maybe dropped? how well does it stay closed? with the lid on?

Anyone know their original price? any chance the green and brown will come back in stock at this price?

I wouldn't risk it. If you want absolutely spill proof, zojurishi has a flip top cup that is very good.

Maybe it's a QC thing. Mine get mostly hand washed. Sometimes wifey catches a dirty one on the counter and it gets into the dishwasher. But I generally hand wash them. I have two in the house right now and both have noticeably degraded. They still keep things hot or cold, but not as long. And you can feel the outside get warm or cold based on the beverage inside. I actually like them better for coffee now because the drink cools off faster.

It's a great cup at a price point of ~$5, for sure. They just aren't super durable and the upgraded locking lid is not quite spill proof.

I have the 22 and 32 oz OT tumblers. Best tumbler for the $ IMO. I wonder if these are similar.

I have a bunch of the 20oz and 28oz Ozark plain ones. Used for years, always use dishwasher. No issues. I'd get these if they were plain stainless and no silicone boot.

Tempted to buy and rip them off.

Ozark makes some good mid market outdoor gear. I have few of their products, I have been pleased with most. Plus pricing is competitive, even with discount stores.
