Nonstick surfaces are a wear item. I've used dozens of tramontina nonstick pans and they all last as long as they are supposed to. I think you'll find that your opinion is among the tiny minority as Tramontina makes great products.

I was going to get the All-Clad D3 12 inch fry pan that's at Amazon for $20 dollars off right now, but cancelled my order once I saw the Tramontina Warehouse Sale skillet for under $20 bucks. I ordered a few tri-ply clad pieces as well (the fry pan, a sauté pan, a stock pot, and a square grill pan) for less than the price of the one A-C fry pan. I'm new to stainless, but have been reading reviews of different clad line and have read really positive things about the Tramontina tri-ply clad stuff, so I'm pretty excited.

Have the 10inch version, great pan, hard to clean around rivets but cooks well. Love cooking on it vs any kind of non stick pan, just have to preheat the pan properly.
