Between 1 and 3. It worked best as a car distraction toy for us.

These toys are designed to learn. If you had kids you know that they like real remote controls, real electronic buttons for equipment, etc. Using a playstation remote to press buttons etc. This is nothing more than a design choice with lights and sound just like all other toys.

We have this and at this price, it's a deal. My kids generally liked it and got what I would consider $5 worth of entertainment out of it.

This is probably the worse toy you can get for a toddler.
You want them to NOT glue to the ipad or phone but you're training them early to GLUE to a screen.
