QA Note: YMMV, turns out that this offer is valid only for Prime Members who have not bought an Amazon Gift Card in the past 12 months

$10 is main event and that's meager compared to prime day. Seeing percentage discounts on stuff is meaningless because of how often we've seen markups that erase most if not all the savings.
For real. If you use urlhasbeenblocked or another price tracker before purchasing things those random and sometimes excessive price fluctuations can get down right insulting.
Does anyone remember the $20-$15 gift card snafu a while back? Bunch of ppl ordered loads of cards and got hassled
heh, yeah. I ended up getting 13 total across two orders, and after 2 quick CS chats they credited me with $65 in promotional credit. I got lucky, though.
Thanks OP, will be buying this GC for the extra credit.
I'm hearing conflicting info here if I get 5% when using my Amazon store card buying Amazon gift cards. I'd like to know because if not I'll be using my discover. otherwise I'd rather use Amazon card since Amazon does not have a 5% cashback limit like discover

you do. you get 5%. for the most part, you get 5% when you load the funds into your amazon gift card balance but when you go to pay for the item and you use those fund, you get zero additional discount whereas you would have received a 5% discount had you charged the entire balance to your amazon store card. it's all the same. technically there is no difference between giving you 5% when you buy the "gift card" or giving you 5% when you buy the item....with your store card.
