I had this version and also bought the new AirPods Pro. I'd wait for a better deal around Black Friday or pay the extra for the new release. The never liked the sound quality of this version, but the new version is so much better

I would definitely suggest you pay more, or wait for a deal, and get the Gen 2's over these Gen 1's.

Remember if you buy on amazon you could potentially get Fakes so always buy from either Target, Walmart(In-store), or Best Buy.
