Very realistic simulator for the console. The developers aim for realism over arcade. I also have GT7 but it's nothing close to ASCC. It got recently updated to v1.8. 4K and 60FPS on PS5, really nice balance of realism and graphics.

If you want to earn cars and unlock stuff and progress through, then GT7 is the way to go.

If you want to run practice laps and qualify and discover a greater challenge, then ASCC is the one.

I am not sure how well this plays on the console as I actually play this on PC, but it is, by far, the best GT sim out there. iRacing does a lot of good things, but ACC is the most realistic GT driving experience out there. Also, turn up the volume if you take the Bentley out for a spin. I believe GT2 cars are coming at some point, but GT4 cars are a great way to get into it. GT3 are great, but significantly faster.
