These are excellent monitors. The only major con is that the curvature is a little steep for some people. I got used to it rather quickly though. The biggest upside is the stand is superb for this price range.
why would you curve a 24" monitor? how close do you have to sit to it to need it..
The panel type is Vertical Alignment, whose downsides are due to the technology itself; gamma shift (washed out) when viewed from an angle and slow dark transitions (smearing/blackghosting). The curve is to make the pixels face the viewer more head-on, with almost every VA using it. Overdrive settings can reduce the smearing somewhat. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=34bqY7CToHg VA's upsides are that it's static contrast are more than double(usually triple+) static contrast for awesome blacks/hues and monetarily cheaper for comparable other specs. The samsung g7 and neo g7 mitigate the two downsides to almost nothing by being really curved and have finely tuned overdrive settings, but with poor quality control and 4-5x price.
For a second I thought the title read "AOC brainless" instead of frameless. They say the mind tends to auto fill certain words so I guess it makes sense to see the word "brainless" after AOC.

I bought this about a month ago and returned it due to brightness flickering over vrr [youtube.com] even not gaming (voltage sensitivity too high to deal with fluctuations) and overlooking it's 6-bit panel.
Smearing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YNv7DiE
All that said, lots of people don't notice, especially coming from monitors 10 years ago(12 for me), and it's a good price.
Edit: 3 feet or so for a 24'' 1080p. Also on the curve, geometry is a bit messed up especially for editing.
