this is the second generation so it's a good deal. you'll see the first gen kicking around tjx and closeout stores

Great price actually. They don't say "20 piece set" by including the lids as well like most companies do. On top of that individually they sell for 10-14 bucks at Home Goods or TJ Maxx.

I'm not gonna knock the OXO ones but the price is kinda crazy. We just bought these - https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0...asin_title and honestly we were so satisfied with them especially coming from heavy glass jars that barely sealed. The one handed operation to open/close is fantastic. We bought another set after they arrived

I have several sets of the BH&G containers, and I can say that they've held up quite well over the last year of use. Purchased the Oxo containers once and the lids wouldn't hold a vacuum even though the seals were seated properly. Haven't had that issue with the ones from Walmart.

These aren't airtight (not sure if advertised as such) and bugs can get in if you have that problem. I found larvae in the flour and rice. Currently looking for a replacement product with tight silicon seals.

Do you freeze your dry goods before storing them? Flour, rice, beans, etc are typically already infested by the time they make it to your home
