I have this rack and find it is adequate for most things I want to do. It certainly isn't a full size power rack but you can get everything done you want done without breaking the bank. The pull up bar has a nice knurl to it and it always feels steady when I lug my former powerlifter self up on it. I have not tried to truly max out the capacity so there might be something to be wanted when you hit the upper ends of the limits.

If you are just starting out you probably won't find a better rack for this price. It is well constructed and the height/footprint is small enough to be in my basement.

A couple of cons: mine did not have one of the plate holders due to a packaging issue and it took a long time to get another. You will need another weight storage tower since there are only 2 plate holders.

That's a squat stand, not a power rack. Cheap though.

No unless you're pushing the 300lb capacity which at that point I'd like to think you have a spotter or perfected the roll away technique

Most people who have these racks probably do that more than squat.

I love mine and paid $215 during Covid. This is a steal!

It's a wee bit wobbly, but not concerning. The real reason to choose this over a full cage is that it fits much better towards a wall and doesn't dominate the whole room. Ours is in a multipurpose rec room and that works well. The benefits of a cage weren't worth it to us, but YMMV.

You won't be disappointed at $140.
