The Ori series is right up there with Hollow Knight for me- (before anyone argues one over the other)- they both can be great. This is especially true given my younger daughters love watching me play and it's an accessible game for them to appreciate. While we can't play it together like Mario games, it captures their attention where they don't mind watching me play and commenting while we play. And for adults it's a wonderful game where you simply don't have to be super invested to enjoy- game where you don't miss out on the overall beauty or the design and music because you have to pay attention to too much detail with reading or customizing a thousand options. While I know many (including myself) are patiently waiting for Silksong- this game is one of those that deserves more in the series also. Absolutely a steal at this price and I'd willingly pay a lot more if I didn't already have it.

I always find this interesting how many people are typically diehard one way or the other with these 2 games. I absolutely prefer the Ori series. To me, everything about it is better than Hollow Knight. I didn't think HK was bad, just didnt enjoy it nearly as much. My teen son on the other hand, prefers Hollow Knight and isn't much a fan of the Ori games.
