I bought these like 10-11 years ago or so. They are filled with concrete.

Very cheap set of dumbbells, they roll and spin while in use. Recently upgraded to Powerblocks and never going back.

These aren't a terrible starter set for someone on a budget.

I have these too and they definitely do spin when you use them

Bought these last time they were this price and they are fine to start as others have said. The spring clips feel a little cheap but they haven't moved on their own yet.

Powerblocks run from $360-420, can adjust from 15lbs to 50lbs with the base set and can buy add on expansions up to 70lbs and 90lbs per dumbbell.

These CAP brand ones are probably the cheapest kind of dumbbell you can buy versus Powerblocks, Bowflex, and Core Fitness adjustable dumbbells that will run you $300-500 but worth it as you get stronger.

Anyone knows if CAP Barbell still sells the all chrome weights anymore? Instead of these cheap ones?

It's a pair of 20 lbs dumbbells, so 40 lbs total (for anyone else confused by the title.)
