Potentially...nothing at all. When I got my CX, the prices didn't really drop drastically around Thanksgiving. IIRC same when I picked up my C1. I think what I saw more was all retailers started dropping prices to closely match what a few of the others dropped to ahead of time.

That said, the low price in this thread is likely Costco trying to bail out of that C1 stock once and for all.
