Amazon is offering for Select Accounts: a $10 Amazon Credit when you Add your Discover Card as your Default Payment Method (Redeemable with purchase using your Discover Card).

Steps:
  1. Visit the offer page and sign in to your Amazon.corn account.
  2. Add your Discover Card to your Amazon.corn account if you haven't already
  3. Change your default payment method to an eligible Discover Card.
  4. When prompted, ensure your Discover Card's billing address is accurate by either confirming your billing address or adding a new billing address.
  5. The credit will automatically be applied to your Amazon.com account.
  6. To redeem the credit, make subsequent eligible purchase(s) with your eligible Discover Card.
    • Offer only applies to products sold by Amazon.com or Amazon.com Services LLC (look for "sold by Amazon.com" or "sold by Amazon.com Services LLC" on the product detail page).

Might want to add you can only use the promo credit with discover as payment method. If you change payment method to something else, the credit does not get applied until you choose discover card again.

Well, some useful summary here:

One offer per card. The other account(s) with the same discover card will get "this card is not eligible" info at last

Discover debit card works, too.

If you did not get the promo on that discover card, you can try the same discover card on another amazon account. It might work.

The $10 credit doesn't work on gift cards, even the 3rd party GCs.

The $10 credit can be used on items not sold by amazon.

Still works. FYI, the credit also works for items NOT sold by amazon. I just purchased four items --all shipped by Amazon, but sold by a 3rd party seller-- and I got the credit. NICE!

They rarely screw that up, but nice when they do. Last year I got 30% off anything shipped by Amazon and it worked 3 times despite terms that said shipped/sold by and one time use. I was up shopping until 4am and it showed active even after 3 times. Sadly, when I got up the next day it was dead.

For me it wasn't expired 12/31/22, as I added it today 1/1/2023, right before I commented. It added a $10 promotional discount and sent me an email confirmation, then said I have 30 days from the date of it being added before it expires
