I bought this after watching too gun maverick and honestly it was a lot of fun with ace combat 7. Now it sits in the drawer awaiting the next new game that supports it

Any good for Star Wars Squadrons? Got the game free last year on PC but have barely played it. The keyboard controls are not very intuitive.

Squadrons works better with a HOTAS (Throttle & Stick). You could in theory use the throttle lever on the joystick but it's less immersive/effective.

Nah, Squadrons is very arcade-y and this joystick won't stand up to the abuse of the jerky movements used to fly tie-fighters and x-wings. That game has killed joysticks in the $200 price range like VKB Gladiators that are made out of substantially higher quality components. Although for $20 bucks, you might as well give it a try. Worst case scenario is that you lose $20 bucks.
