It's a well hidden deal. I found it while researching this similar deal for the model below this in the same series. Actually I had purchased the earlier deal (Player Plus Telecaster - without middle pickup) deal, and was researching to make sure I really wanted it. Yes, it was an unplanned impulse purchase. I have learned that any time you can get a new guitar for less than the going used rate, you will never lose money if you take care of it.

A link from some review site led to the $608 price for the Nashville version. On the Amazon site a search for "Player Plus Nashville" does not find this deal because the title has no useful information about the product except the part number (0147342300). Googling "0147342300" does not return any Amazon links. Low price according to Google is $1055. Searching Amazon for "0147342300" returns the deal.

I wonder what other deals are hidden because the titles don't name the product.

I also ordered the non-nashville version from the previous post. Got it in and it's almost indistinguishable from my american made tele. Also ordered the nashville for this price and will return the other if this one is as nice. Actually ordered 2 of each to get the cheaper price as it dropped. So will be returning 3 guitars. You'd think Amazon would rather just credit the price difference and not get so many returns but that's not how they roll.

I've never played a nashville, but what's the downside? Aren't the other 2 pickups standard tele? With the push pull switch you can have any combination of the pickups so seems to me having the strat pickup in the middle can only add options. Maybe the tele purists think it looks bad. That doesn't concern me.

I came across this and ordered when they were $675. I saw they dropped to $608 and was able to cancel and reorder. Mine says it'll arrive on Thursday. Looking forward to this one. Spec wise this is pretty much everything I'd want in a modern telecaster.

Thanks so much for sharing this. I almost bought one used last year for this price. It appears that this one has the belly cut which is much more comfortable than other telecasters.
