Not as good as the $608 deal that Amazon had for this guitar earlier this month, but still a great price: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...0DER&psc=1

I bought 2 of these at the $608 deal. I heard others had issue with being sent open box/previously returned items. The ones I received were new is sealed factory boxes. And I have to say, the ones I received are fantastic!
The action is nice (could be a tab lower but that's preference). The Satin neck and rolled edges feels great in the hand! It has tons of features and upgrades...makes this a Slick Deal!
The finish looks a lot better in person as well, more 3 color burst than the stock pictures implies.

Speaking of receiving retunred item, I bought a player plus PJ bass from Amamzon at the same time as the Nashville teles. I was send a previously returned item, no factory box and neck was unplayable, fret buzz on all strings, all over and especially above the 12th fret. I returned it!

I'm really tempted by this! Anyone else have one that can provide feedback?

I wouldn't worry too much about people complaining about fret buzz and high action. Chances of there being something actually wrong with the frets or neck are pretty low and it's likely just a setup issue. If you're a guitar player, you should absolutely know how to make these adjustments but you can always pay someone to do it for you. No guitar will be setup perfectly forever. Guitars are made with wood and will grow and shrink with changes in temperature and humidity.

I got one last deal and love mine. Arrived in perfect condition. Needed minimal tweaking out of the box. Plays as nice as my MIA Fenders.

That sounds like a experience I had with Guitar Center a few years back with a SG.I also bought a USA Cherry Elite Tele about 6 years back from Adorama and loved the workmanship, however neck pickup was DOA and returned it. Frown

Think this is still prob $100+ too expensive, think they could drop the price a little more

For noiseless pickups and locking tuners? I think you will have to buy used for $100 less if you are lucky.

I hear ya, good point, there's added value in it being a Player Plus, not a run of the mill MIM, just think all considering price could be bit lower, Fender markup is so high to begin with...

yeah these are essentially a revamped Deluxe line. Used these things are $700+. Dont forget lumber is crazy expensive too. Besides energy and labor and inflation. A $15 piece of plywood is over $100. etc.

It prolly didint help when fender mexico had that fire last year. Burning up $$$.

Lumber prices have come down quite a bit.

i would say the Player series is the new Deluxe. Player Plus is a cut above. in addition to some hardware upgrades, which may or may not be worth it depending on preferences, the rolled fret edges require more labor hours.

For building a house? Yeah, somewhat. Stock used for building guitars? Not so sure about that.

Picked this up from the last deal for $608, played a gig with it this weekend & it sounds great as expected. Brand new in the box, shipped directly from Amazon via Fender in Cali. Most guitars like this need a full setup out of the box so you can learn to do it yourself or pay someone $50-75.

I'd say this is better than the old MIM Nashville telecasters quality wise, maybe on par with the American Standard or whatever they call them now.

I didn't realize I was a position 4 guy unless this weekend... get your minds out of the gutter haha!
