Wow that was fast…
I have used Apple Watch since the first model and till this day I have never feel the need of the cellular model. If you use it, fine but being pragmatic, you don't really need it.

So I have to disagree with this comment.
Can't. It doesn't exist.

Most people who're getting cellular version said they want to get rid of phone (at least partially, or for a period of time).

Not so sure about that. I bought a cellular model a few years ago. Cut service after realizing it's a lot more than $10 a month once the unadvertised fees and taxes are added. Went back to the GPS model the next year and never looked back. I have an Ultra now (not sure I'll keep it). No way will I activate cellular. But also, very anecdotal, none of my close friends or family have a cellular model.

Just for my understanding and not to start a war. Why would someone pay so much of money to get a watch that needs to be recharged every day? I mean Garmin lasts a week. I understand the eco system, convenience of showing your watch at a register to checkout and all that stuff. But is it really worth the everyday charging pain?
I have both a Garmin (Forerunner 945) and an AW -- I've had both a Garmin and AW for years. I use the Garmin when I run. I use my AW for day-to-day. Garmin is the better sports watch. AW is the better smart watch (if you are in the Apple ecosystem). Garmin's apps are mostly sports related (since it's mostly a sports watch), AW is a mix of everything. Garmin's screen is kinda dull looking, which is the secret to it's battery life. Apple's is vibrant and easy to read, but yes, that burns battery.

I could go one, but basically, no charging is not an issue in day-to-day use. I usually sleep with my AW and put it on the charger when I wake up. By the time I've showered and breakfasted it's charged up. But also when I've finished a run my Garmin goes back on the charger too. And it's a lot easier to throw the AW on its wireless charger than to hook up my 945 to it's fiddly charging port.

Right, so did I. I mean to be able to go on a run or walk w/o my phone would be amazing. But like I said, I find the cost to do that not worth it - after fees and taxes it's nearly $200 a year IN ADDITION to what I'm paying for the cell phone service. That's almost 1/2 the price of the watch itself. It just doesn't sit right with me.

But my post was not that there was no reason to have cellular, just that not everyone wants one. I know they are popular, but I don't think they more popular or desirable than the non-cellular.

Apple Watch S7 @ $220 or this deal S8 @ $379?

S7 is a better buy for a 160 savings

I too got the same deal.... I actually bought all the deals on the 7... so I could decide since my wife got mad I couldn't get the 7 41mm @ $279 w/ staples price matching (from bb) lol

I got the following so I can debate and return (or sell)

Series 7 41mm (GPS+CELL) @ $349 (black and startlight)\
Series 7 41mm (GPS/CELL) STAINLESS/SAPPHIRE @ $549 (Target)
Series 7 45mm GPS only @ $309 (black and starlight)
Series 8 41mm GPS only @ $349

since I missed the first deal... i wasn't going to loose out on any other deal lol.

I have a series 3 GPS only now.... I'm trying to decide if staying GPS is the way or go GPS/CELL .... 45mm in all honesty is too big for both of us (nice screen) but prone to banging the top and bottom (I have a series 6 44mm to try, and it's big as hell)

Thoughts?
Sent you a PM. Series 7 41mm GPS in stock for shipping Peace

It's not going to be a big seller. The SE or Series 7 are the best value picks. It's the Ultra that's the premium pick. The Series 8 won't sell unless it is priced near the Series 7
