You need to understand the reason for a mesh system is to expand the range of your wireless network a dual band system will use the 5GHz band for the satellite unit to communicate with the main unit. This is also the same band that you will be using for your devices. A triband router will have 2 5Ghz channels or a 6Ghz on newer devices. This allows for higher possible speeds.
The other issue with this set is that the router only has one port for any hardwired devices on both the main router and the satellite. If you just have a smaller house this will probably work OK but since you are not buying a router every year I would suggest spending some more money for a triband router if you can use hardwired ethernet to connect your two units that is also a plus.
Check the manual for any device to make sure you can esperate your 2.4 and 5 Ghz bands since many smart devices like light bulbs and outlets will only work on a 2.4 Ghz band.
Some people have been advised to move their devices far from their router to ensure they were out of the 5Ghz range to ensure that it would only pick up the 2.4 Ghz range.
The systems want to combine the channels so the router can manage what devices connect with 2.4 or 5 Ghz channels. I prefer do do it myslef.

It's also very limited in terms of customization, Guest Wifi has absolutely no limitations other than setting a guest ID. No expiration of passkeyor anything like that. It's really basic router.
Having said that, if I buy these two, can I add them to my mesh system as satellites? Or do they sell satellites at similar price point or cheaper?
Single port is not a major issue, you can just get a switch I suppose. I don't think it has option to turn off the light either but it's not that bad.
Even though all the products should be handle that many products unless they severely limited the CPU/RAM or programmed a limitation.

They pbly did. Not a chance I'd be willing to take. No recourse if it can not handle more than the stated # of devices.
