I would not. Totally ripped my carpet and doesn't pick dust from hardwood floor, just throw it back sucking partially. Never buy this

I got this in June for small office area. It's good for that, but for a whole house I'd stay away. Too small and not powerful enough.

In fairness, I don't know if the price has permanently gone up since we got it at $50. It wasn't a special sale when we got it a couple of years ago, so I can't really say whether it'll go back down. Great vacuum though.
