I picked one up during the last sale to wear during welding classes I'm taking. Just seemed unnecessarily risky to the longevity of the Apple Watch to wear it in that environment Stick Out Tongue

I love watches like these because they're tough, reliable, and not as expensive as an Apple Watch 😆
However, my last Casio watch melted when I used OFF bug spray, has anyone else noticed that bug spray melts the plastic of their watches?

Yes, people even use bug spray to "clean" their headlights. It eats the top layer of plastic and debris but also stains any paint that it gets on. Also leaves the lenses tinted a little green too.

I had an aftermarket Sony CD player that lost a minute per day so just stuck my old G Shock near the console where I could easily see it for a few years. Then didn't drive the car for a few years after. Thoroughly impressed the watch was still working.

Debating going back to this and throwing my Samsung smart watch on ebay. I'll forever miss my Pebbles. Smart watches just don't last long enough nowadays.
