This is worth $20. I paid $40 and that was too much. The Judgment games are only ok. For anyone who doesn't know, they have nothing to do with the Yakuza games, as far as the story goes. They do exist in the Yakuza world, but both Judgement games focus on your detective character solving crimes that don't have anything to do with the events of the Yakuza games. Also, while you should play the first game first, this does a recap to give you the gist of the first game.

Currently on Yakuza 4, the series is all that I've been told it would be, heard it is, and more.

Looking forward to diving into the Judgement games after.. but it'll be a while 🤣

I played through Judgment on Stadia and Lost Judgment on Amazon Luna.

I like the story in Judgement more than Lost Judgment. But I still enjoyed this game a lot and Lost Judgment has more fighting techniques (one also locked in an DLC.) and side-quests (some locked in DLC). Also, Lost Judgment basically reuses the same city maps in Yakuza 7 but cut off several areas from the map. That is so obvious that it feels cheap.

A lot of optional contents in Lost Judgement are sold separately as DLCs, while as Judgement is a complete edition. When they released the PC version on steam recently they included the most of the DLCs except for the Kaito Files.
20 is a fair price for the amount of entertainment though I'd say Judgment offers better value (all DLCs and $3 less) if you have not played it yet.

Agreed on Judgement being the better value. Personally Judgement's story and gameplay feels more focused than LJ, but I know some people prefer LJ's combat

Been on my wishlist - the game is literally always $30 on sale somewhere (e.g. Amazon) at any given time for the past summer for the PS5 or Xbox Series X. $15 is my price target.

Yup...last game I ordered new was not sealed with fingerprint smudges all on the disc.....clearly not new but they'll say it was new until their last breath. Just contact CS and they resent me a new copy but it's like why do I have to go through the hassle. Either it's new or its not.....not complicated
