I'm sure the Tiger is decent, but CUCKOO, the other Costco option, is the premier brand globally alongside Zojirushi, and the leading Wirecutter Upgrade pick (by brand).

CUCKOO is Made in Korea, Tiger is Made in Japan.

If I were to spring $80-100 for a rice cooker I'd go with the CUCKOO.
Nice.

This is a good rice cooker. Just made the most perfect rice porridge in this one using leftover Costco chicken

Great rice cooker, cooks brown rice really well. I was lucky to get this at Costco about a month ago for $50 , it was the last one on the shelf.

Isn't it usually $80 in stores? Anyway it's a good cooker if you're not using high end rice.

This is solid rice cooker. It may take longer to cook rice than the sub $20 rice cookers but it cooks evenly without burning the rice

How is that rice cooker compared to this one? Is this one worth the extra cost?

I saw it at mine for 69 too. You can call your Costco and give them the item # you found online and ask if they have it at store

Zojirushi and tiger are similar in terms of quality. In my opinion I don't think it's worth the extra bucks. The next upgrade would be an induction rice cooker with fuzzy logics

something like this:

Zojirushi NP-GBC05XT Induction Heating System Rice Cooker and Warmer, 0.54 L, Stainless Dark Brown https://a.co/d/7lgTDKM
